Good Enough Pandemic Parenting Group

Parents with young children at home are the “other” front line workers of this pandemic. Managing the stress, fear, uncertainty, and financial hardship of this pandemic while simultaneously being “on” with children 24/7 has many parents at utter loose ends. And because children are also feeling the disruption and stress of this time, it’s likely that your kids’ behavior is not at it’s best, making it even harder to manage it all. Parents are being squeezed from every direction. If you are feeling this way, you are not alone.

This private Facebook group is for parents who attended a “Good Enough Pandemic Parenting” talk with parent educator and family minister, Angela Jernigan. Come on in with your parenting questions and struggles and be met with compassionate, wise support and a caring community.

Get ideas, tools and inspiration from a seasoned parent educator who understands what it means to parent through The Worst of Times and come through with resilience. Here you can connect with peer listening partners, learn and practice self-healing tools, and attend Angela’s weekly Monday evening zoom workshops spotlighting specific parenting challenges that have come up in the group that week (7-8PM PT on Mondays, additional days/times upon request. Recordings available afterward).

This group is designed to provide parents with affordable support through this challenging time. Come be met, right where you are as a parent, and get help navigating through this time in a way that fosters connection and resilience for your whole family.

Membership in the group costs $30 a month. Cancel at any time. Members have the option of attending Zoom listening groups with Angela for an additional sliding scale fee (Sunday, 1-2:30PM PT; Wednesday 7-8:30PM PT).
