I am so glad you found me. You have most likely found me through Facebook and I am glad that that platform is helping us to connect.
My name is Angela Jernigan and I teach Parenting by Connection. I have been doing so for four years now.
Parenting by Connection is a philosophy and a practice of parenting that understands that children function at their best when they feel deeply connected to their primary caregivers. As parents we can specialize in reconnection and I can teach you how.
I want to tell you more about this practice. That is why I am hosting several one hour introductions that are free.
At these talks I will share with you two parenting tools:
- One to deepen your connection with your children and
- One to reconnect when things get hard.
You can then also find out if a six-week class in Parenting by Connection is right for you. These classes are starting in January, one in the evening and one in the daytime.
Here are the dates and places. If you are interested, you can simply send me an email using the form below. I will in reply send you directions to my studio.
- Sat 1/4/14. 2pm at First Congregational Church of Berkeley, 2345 Channing Way in Berkeley
- Wed 1/8/14. 7pm in Angela’s studio
- Tue 1/14/14. 10 am in Angela’s studio
We really notice the difference in kids whose parents use this approach. They are just more resilient.” —Tristen Taylor (Co-Director Monteverde school)
